Hi! I'm Nico Garcin, video editor based in Copenhagen, DK.
 

After finishing my arts, videography and animation studies in France, I worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer and had the opportunity to be in several roles, and to have my hands on photography, set design, editing and camera operation.

Food and specialty coffee showed up in my life a few years ago, and re-shaped the idea I had of my future. It quickly became more than a passion and, embracing the change, I moved to London to blaze a new trail in my professional life.

However, video and filmmaking always kept a special place in my heart. For about 5 years I created online content dedicated to education about coffee.

I spent most of my free time since September 2022 practicing video editing through online courses and hands-on projects, including working on the production of documentaries or by setting up my own projects.

 

My experience extends to filming, photography, stop motion and animation, though always curious and eager to learn new things, I started learning Blender 3D, compositing in After Effects as well as interactive design on Rive and Spline to widen my skill set.

I am eager to rekindle and work in video, through any project and opportunity that arises. And if food or sustainability are also in the game, I'm in too!
